In my work, I give attention to ethical themes that hold personal significance for me.
What truly matters in my life — and perhaps also in the lives of others — forms a recurring thread throughout my practice.
Open-mindedness plays an important role in this.
When forming a judgment, it is essential not to be guided by stereotypes or preconceived notions.
First impressions can be incomplete or misleading, and it is often the act of postponing judgment and maintaining an open attitude that creates the most space for insight — whether we are listening to a story or looking at an image.
In both my still lifes and my nature photographs, I explore the tension between what is visible and what is essential.
The objects in my still lifes function as anchor points: seemingly simple, yet carrying meanings that reveal themselves only when the gaze slows down.
My work invites contemplation — a moment of stillness in which space emerges to look beyond the surface and to learn to see differently.
It asks for openness and reflection, because perception is rarely unambiguous.
It also encourages the discovery of value that does not lie in weightiness but in simplicity.
By embracing simplicity, space arises for depth — a depth that can unlock inner richness.
To remain as close as possible to the aesthetic truth of reality — as an ode to honesty — I keep my photographs intentionally unedited.
